Luminous Sanctuaries is a series of paintings inspired by moments of quiet revelation in ordinary life.
These paintings are invitations into deeper noticing. They emerge from real places, memories, and threshold experiences over many years — subtle sanctuaries that appear unexpectedly within everyday experience — instances where light and presence reveal something deeper.
Each work is a threshold between:
movement and stillness,
memory and presence,
the seen world and the felt one.

THE EXPERIENCE
In spring, when leaves were turning a golden yellow green on trees everywhere, I saw this tree.
A moment of pause became a sanctuary.
Shade
For a moment, the ordinary became luminous.
In 2011, while waiting in my office cab, I watched this real-life dance of light and shadows play silently like a black-and-white movie on the wall.
I recreated that moment, years later.
A sanctuary relived.
Silent Play
A place that felt remembered.
A bridge-space between pause and presence.
Threshold
Vastness meeting stillness.
Inner stillness

Dissolving inside the Self.
